Some say one of my biggest character flaws may be that my heart is too often three sizes too big. I care more for the happiness of others than I do my own well-being. And that is a flaw. It's been proven to me on more than one occasion.
When will I learn that I have to stop caring?
Oh, that's right, I won't.
For my entire life, I will always be more concerned with how you feel than how I feel. I'm selfless, and that's not conceited to say; it's factual.
But how many chances do I have to give? How many times do I have to ask to be loved just a little bit in return for all the love I consistently and unabashedly give?
And, as for you, when did it happen? When did your selfishness overwhelm you? When did I suddenly become someone you cared nothing for. You are not more concerned with your own well-being, you are ONLY concerned with your own well-being. How sad for you.
It seems, unless you are someday reborn more selfless and somehow find the courage to address the issues you have caused, you are not someone I want to know.
